How To Get Started

Step 1
Book Your First Couples Session

We’ll start with a 53- or 83-minute session, in person or via telehealth. This is a space for both partners to be heard, without judgment or sides taken.

Step 2
Establish Your Goals Together

Through weekly (or biweekly, longer-form) sessions, we’ll uncover the patterns, emotions, and unmet needs beneath your most common conflicts.

Step 3
Repair, Reconnect, and Grow

As therapy progresses, you’ll gain the tools to listen better, repair faster, and build a relationship where both partners feel seen, safe, and respected.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Many couples have tried surface-level counseling that focused only on “tools.” We dig deeper into emotional patterns, trauma responses, and unmet needs so that change is more sustainable.

  • Weekly sessions are most effective at the start. However, for 90-minute sessions, biweekly scheduling is possible and can still create meaningful momentum.

  • That’s common. We’ll make space for both partners’ experiences without pressure. Therapy can still be effective even when one person is unsure or ambivalent at first.

  • Yes. Many couples recover from infidelity through a structured, honest process. Rebuilding trust is possible with time, consistency, and transparency.

  • We’re well-versed in these intersections. Couples therapy here acknowledges the impact of addiction, trauma, and shame on relationships and helps both partners heal.

  • We serve many clients with Christian values or spiritual beliefs, and we’re equipped to integrate that when relevant. Therapy remains non-dogmatic, client-centered, and respectful of all belief systems.
